White PaPer on Vietnam economic Strategy 2020
FOREWORD
OVID-19 is not only a pandemic but also a humanitarian challenge with a long-term impact on the way we
live, work and play. In just a few weeks, people's lives were really turned upside down in ways unimagin-
Cable. The world, which had been busy with business activities, has now moved into a “quieter” world with
limited tourism, closed offices and home-based work. Social distancing has directly changed the way people live
and interact with each other. This is also creating an unprecedented crisis in many different economic sectors. Not
only the difficulties and challenges are in the medium term, the longer the crisis lasts, the more profound and long-
term changes we will notice in consumer behavior. One thing is certain, however, that the world looks a lot dif-
ferent when we enter a new normal period after the COVID-19 pandemic.
With this, we are organizing the Vietnam CEO Summit 2020, announcing the Top 500 Fastest enterprises in
Vietnam 2020 – FAST500 Ranking List, Top 10 Most reputable enterprises in Real Estate, Banking, Insurance and
Technology – Top 10 Ranking List. Vietnam Report conducted research and published the Annual Bilingual Report
Vietnam Economic Strategy White Paper 2020 with the theme “Vietnamese enterprises and the strategy to
overcome in the new normal period”. The report focuses on analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 pandem-
ic on the Vietnamese business community in key sectors, providing strategic suggestions to help businesses over-
come difficulties and rebuild brand in the new normal era.
