FOREWORD

Tital economic growth in the ASEAN. Digital transformation and the digital economy have created more
resources for all industries to scale and develop more dynamically through new production modes and economic
structures. Today, digital transformation is no longer an immediate task, but it has become an inevitable trend,
playing a strategic role in the development of enterprises. Especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, digital trans-
formation has been promoted more strongly and is a top priority in production and business. Enterprises cannot
stay out of the digital "flow" if they want to survive and thrive in an increasingly competitive environment. 2021
is also identified as the year for enterprises to find directions and embark on solving challenges and improving their
competitive opportunities with digital technology.

In such a context and on the occasion of the Announcement Ceremony of the FAST500 Ranking - Top 500
Vietnamese fastest-growing enterprises and Top 10 prestigious companies in Real Estate - Construction - Building
Materials industry in 2021, Vietnam Report has researched and published a Bilingual report Vietnam Economic
Growth 2021, with the theme “Vietnam’s enterprises on the road of digital transformation in the post-
cOVID-19 pandemic period”. The Report is a collection of perspectives, analyses on the digital economy and
digital transformation in Vietnamese enterprises today, as well as updates new trends, goals, strategies and imple-
mentation models from the multi-dimensional perspective of the economic - technology experts and largest and
fastest-growing enterprises, so the Report is expected to contribute to helping the Vietnamese business communi-
ty, in general, understand the trend, improve the level of thinking, come up with suitable strategies for organiza-
tions to seize opportunities, overcome challenges, implement successful digital transformation and achieve rapid and
sustainable growth, completing the mission of making Vietnam becomes powerful in the post-COVID-19 period.
